The Egyptian Building is on the downtown campus of Virginia Commonwealth University – MCV campus, Richmond, Virginia. This Egyptian architecture building was built in 1845 for Hampden-Sydney College’s Medical school. The windowless five-story building has papyrus columns, and the front has a circular bricked pattern. The building remains in use today, and is the oldest medical college building in the south.
