Medium
Painting - Oil On Canvas
Description
one thursday on the Girond, we painted it under the sunshine of the whole day from 10h to around 16h. There was not enough time to have lunch, when the sun turned around the head! Un emmense light between sea and sky, we was happy for this moment. There are many people painted it. My "result" is sold as it is my moment with land and sky here.
Under the trees there is a cimeterie for sea men, where they had a long reste after their shaking boats' life.
This village is turned to a tourist place than a fishing village as it used to be. Even the house in the right, it was used to be "customers' house/office" now it is a guest house! Thursday 4 th september 2014.

Kim, Your knife work is exceptional and has such a European feel to it! FAV Jerry
Kim PARDON replied:
Thank you Jerry. Your paintings have mysterious ambiances also! often, we made open air paintings. I like to use knifes for final touches. It makes a form, it helps to finish the large canvas, and it gives the material substance.
