Description

This eastern phoebe caught my eye while at a great blue hereon rookery. I had fought my way through some dense overgrowth to the edge of a swamp to get a good vantage point to photograph the herons. This phoebe was darting back and forth from a partially submerged log to the water where it found plenty of small bugs and worms to eat.
