Description
Dusk by the lagoon with boats, Lefkada, Ionian Islands, Greece, September 2020. Between Lefkada Town and the sea is a large lagoon, locally known as Gyra. This photo is taken from the waterfront to the west of the bridge, where there is a row of tavernas and bars. People come to promenade there in the evening. The street is named Aggelou (or Angelou) Sikelianou, after Angelos Sikelianos, a Greek poet and playwright born in Lefkada. The building on the promontory on the left of the picture is part of the outdoor theatre. NB buyers - the shot was taken at 1/32 sec., without a tripod, and has been sharpened, but has been left a little soft focus.
