I chose this title because as I created the work of art, I was focused on my inner turmoil, suffering with depression and anxiety issues. For those who also suffer from this illness, it can be a trap of sorts from everyday life. We can find it hard to function at 100% any given day, which can debilitate our home life as well as our work life and social life. Even with this in mind, we must fight to find a way to breat free and become a better person for ourselves, for a positive life filled with pleasure and joy! For me, painting is that path to joy, and I continue to feel stronger and stronger each day I work toward my goals.
