Description
Dark Reaction:
Noun; biochemistry: A cycle of reactions (the Calvin cycle) that occur in the second phase of photosynthesis, and doesn't require light.

Also in the recipe is a large influence by Marvin the Martian, of Warner Bros. cartoon fame, from the same timeframe as the abstract expressionists. Marvin's inspiration here comes from his celebrated catchprase:
"Where's the ka-boom? There was supposed to be an Earth-shattering ka-boom?"
