Description
Oleander is a shrub that can be trained to grow as tall as a tree. The shrubs are thick whether short or tall. The leaves of the oleander are poisonous to humans and animals. Both humans and animals know this. Oleanders are planted along highways to keep animals from wandering into traffic to cross the road. Animals won't come close to it.
These pink oleanders border a section of the highway where I live, but there are all colors of oleanders. This shrub is simply gorgeous when it blooms in profusion.
