The desert provides many necessities in ways that we wouldn't think. This graceful curlycue fiber from the agave plant can be used to make a rope. Artistically speaking, the gentle curves and circles contrast against the straight lines of the plant's green spikes in the background. The focus is just on the tip of the fiber helping the eye to understand the distance of the depth of the coil as it reaches back to the plant stalk.
