I joined the 3-day challenge starting August 15, 2021 and the theme for this challenge was “Perspective”. Here is my Day 3 – This is a long culvert (drainage pipe) at the front of the driveway to our property. I like this perspective of the look of a long tunnel. The back of it was a bit blown out by sunlight so I placed a silhouette of our old cat at the end to lend to the perspective. The cat used to walk through inside the culvert and sit at the end, to watch for lizards and critters.
In researching perspective photography meanings, one definition is to make a two-dimensional photo seem like a three-dimensional image. Also how the placement of the lens plane is in relation to a subject, mainly the perspective lends depth to the scene.
