Cruising Alaska In The Blue Hour

Cruising Alaska in the Blue Hour
Glacier Bay Alaska Seascape by Connie Fox
This is one of three companion images in beautiful shades of blue to calm and beautify your home or office—the third in a set of full-framed, uncropped, monochrome images captured in the blue hour in Glacier Bay, Alaska. This one features some small islands and a distant cruise ship.
If you were to horizontally align all three in order, this image would be hung to the right. If you go back to the two images before this one, you will find companion pieces for the left and center. They were captured separately, seconds apart, but as a panorama. The result is a continuation of the same scene with the horizons aligning.
Note the beautiful sky with late-day clouds. Enjoy the ever-changing islands and inlets of Glacier Bay, and allow the luminescent waters to soothe and delight you. These three images and others can be found in my Alaska Gallery.
This trio of full-sized images also could be hung in any order vertically, filling a tall empty space and transporting the viewer to a pristine land far away. Of course any of these images could also be used alone or on a wide variety of products.
Our Princess cruise took us southward, from Fairbanks to Vancouver, so this may have been where we neared the bend to enter the Inside Passage. I recommend that, if you go to Alaska, you do a land-and-sea excursion from north to south, with the more demanding bus- and train-travel in the first half of your journey, and your relaxing cruise portion at the end. I also recommend spending several days exploring beautiful Vancouver, so be sure to see my Canada Gallery too.
