Cross Of Salvation
What we see is not exactly what is real, in fact what we see is what our brains interpret from the complexity of light that comes through our eyes.
Images that enter the brain are filtered to fit familiar patterns, for example: clouds without definite shape resemble animals, angels, etc.
The beauty of the abstract work is that it transmits a single image that will be seen differently in the mind of each viewer.
The state of mind also has great influence on what we see, so the abstract work can generate different images for the same person depending on their mood.
