Description
Corbures is a photo-based abstract that was created through a rather lengthy series of digital alterations using a number of photo-editing applications. The actual subject of the source photo is really beside the point, as this one is all about shape, movement, color and texture. If you scroll over the image and use the loupe tool, you can get a good look at the rather gritty texture... the digital origins are embraced here as part of the look.
Funny thing, too... no matter how many times I look at Courbures, my mind seems to attempt to resolve... is it gray on red, or red on gray?
The title was chosen simply because sounds so much more interesting and sensual in French than it does in English.
