Description
Concord Point Lighthouse was built in1827 at the concourse of the Chesapeake Bay tidal and the Susquehanna River. It is the second oldest lighthouse in Maryland, USA. I grew up around the Chesapeake Bay during my mid teens, sailing with my father and visiting such places as this. I took this image later in life while I was living in Colorado and came back here yearly, where I had a sailboat, to introduce sailing to my sons for about 5 years. My Favorite place to go was Annapolis and to this day still make visits there......

You have captured this lighthouse beautifully, Christopher. It looks so appealing! We traveled the Chesapeake Bay while on the Great Loop and it is so beautiful - like one of the Great Lakes. Thanks for sharing this particular view.
