Bonnie Marie:Come unto me and I will give you rest! The full verse is "Come unto me all yea who are weak and heavy laden and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28 I wanted to paint a picture of hope and prayerfully this was given to me to paint. God in Christ is our only hope. always the ultimate hope always. We always need Him to be in charge of our lives but in these uncertain time we need Him more than ever! He is our Hope always; but in times of trial and uncertainty we need Him most. He stands at the door of each heart and knocks for admittance... have you let Him in? He is above all a gentleman, He never forces his way upon even His own. He knocks at your hearts door and shows you a thousand ways each day who he is and gives you the testimony of others our their positive actions to speak to you... will you listen and open your hearts door to Him?

I painted this in acrylics and the glowing part and seeming thick paint is actually the iridescent paints I highlighted with and the glitter acrylic I used to create the glowing behind and around him. He has come right through a stained glass window to offer His loving care and all around is diminished and blended into the glow of His Holy brilliance! To view this in person it is much more brilliant, glowing, and meaningful! It loses much by the fact photography does not pick up on the glowing brilliance.
