On New Year's Eve I often set up in this location and paint the festivities in my home town, Raleigh, North Carolina. I did that again this past year and sold the painting for a pretty good price. One of my non-winning bidders then commissioned me to do ANOTHER painting from the same vantage point . . . so this is that. The buyer LIVES in that one brightly-lit window way up high on the big blue building . . . thus, the title of the piece.
