Description

Summer sunrise on the shores of Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont looking towards the Adirondack Mountains in New York.

This image was one of those times that I really did not think I was going to get any images as the clouds were clearing out and I was once again proved wrong! As I set up for this shot I noticed this large, lone cloud moving into the area and was able to capture it as it moved into my composition. The last of the sunrise light was bouncing off of the cloud giving it this beautiful pink coloring. I used the reeds and rocks here on the shore line to add some interest and lead you into the image.
