Beautiful bluebonnets, state flower of Texas, blooming in a field near Industry, Texas, USA. Sprinkled with Indian paintbrush, evening primrose, and a yellow flower or two in this tranquil scene that looks like a meadow. Bluebonnets bloom from late March to early April and are very popular in springtime.
Four stately trees that have not yet budded out are silhouetted on the horizon, which is dotted with smaller trees. A blue sky with abundant cumulo-nimbus clouds fills the upper half of the frame, not vying for space but showcasing the splendid field of flowers. With lovely green grasses serving as a backdrop for what looks like a carpet of flowers, this is classic Texas scenery in the spring.
