This is the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Health (Nostra Signora della Salute) in Volastra, a village between Manarola anc Corniglia in the Cinque Terre region of Italy. The church at this location dates from 1240. The Road of the Sanctuaries is one of the most interesting hiking itineraries in Cinque Terre. The scenic path, leads you high above the Ligurian Sea making for spectacular vistas. Along this route, you can visit the Sanctuaries located high above the main towns, which have for centuries represented important spiritual and geographical landmarks for the land of farmers and fishermen.
