Thank you Nan! The original of this piece has been sold to a piano player in North Carolina. I'm not sure if he is using it to frighten his students or not! LOL

Hello Ken ! I saw your pic on Facebook today and came over to see what you've been up to. I really like this piano scene.......shows lots of creativity and talent ! You are assembling an "original body of work," and I foresee success for you. Your friend, Larry

Superb painting as ever, Ken. textures and your usual signature style are all there. The reflection is hard to do i such a complex and repetitive piece. You've succeeded impressively here. I Think is this is one of my favourites. And the write up is fascinating. I have uploaded a very dark piece on rb, which symbolises my plight at present. Sometimes it helps to be a little shocking now again. I think it does us good.

Oh, My! This painting really struck an emotional chord OUCH! since I have been procrastinating having my piano tuned and it is beginning to be painful to play it of late. I put it off because it is an extra expense, but it just can't wait any longer. This painting seems both comical and a bit bizarre in an amusing way. Your skills at eliciting an emotional response in all your paintings shows the depth of your skills. I am fascinated with the number of your paintings that show doors, locks, keys, doorknobs. I appreciate your comments on my rose painting. Thanks, Ken. Marsha

Ken Thank you for your comments. This work is very lovely. Just perfect!

Winchelsea, Ea - United Kingdom

Thank you Ken for your comments. What I'm aiming for in my work at the moment is an exploration of the effect of light on surfaces and I find gouache as a medium helpful in that it lets me build up the surface slowly. At the same time, as gouache has good opacity it helps create an effect of depth. Thanks again and best wishes.

Ahhh, a sight for sore eyes. This piece works very nicely. Very nice composition; works nice as surreal or abstract art. But I definitely won't be venturing my fingers to try out that keyboard!!!

The colors, shading, reflections & the perspective are all wonderful in this piece. And I love the title. Please allow me to be the first to say thanks for omitting the fingers. :)
