Description
When I was a growing up, we used to put peanut butter on our finger and hold it out the picture window near the bird feeder patiently waiting for a chickadee to land on our finger! We tamed the chickadees and even got to the point where we could "pet" them. They are one of my favorite birds. I can still almost feel their velvety feathers which I hoped would be apparent in the application of the oils in this painting.
