Charming Red Columbine

Anita Pollak

Photograph - Photograph With Filters And Textures
Description
Columbines are one of the wonderful treats of our spring garden. We have several varieties, but the red columbine has seeded in many places and given us one of it's finest displays in all the years we've had them.
I have been shooting the columbines for weeks, and I am still enchanted by their delicate beauty, their bell-like shape, and the way the evening light plays on their petals.
Processed in Photoshop with several filters and textures to get the look I wanted.
Nikon D810 with Nikon 200mm micro lens.
