Panorama of clouds over a hay field in Charlotte, Vermont in the Charlotte Nature Preserve.
The Charlotte Nature Preserve in Charlotte, Vermont is a series of hiking trails and bird watching spots on some hills and farmland overlooking Lake Champlain and the Champlain Valley. The preserve is about 20 minutes from Burlington and provides some expansive views of the Champlain Valley area. On the day that I shot this image there was a gorgeous set of clouds rolling across the lake from the New York side and the clouds looked much better looking away from the lake. I turned around and used this hay field and it's horizon to really showcase the clouds coming through the area.
