Description
A fused work of an imaginary scene with the background taken, in part, from a work by Albert Bierstadt, a 19th century American artist. The coloration has been extensively revised to fit this piece with additional elements, such as trees, also added to fit what I was trying to do in creating this mystical piece. Bierstadt's work is much larger and portrays a very different scene. The structure is the Chenanceau castle in the Loire valley of France. This is just a part of the structure and of course the entire setting is much different. But it makes for a perfect magical and dramatic image.

Scott, you have a good eye for art. The background, in fact is taken, in part and of course extensively modified in colors and elements from a work by Albert Bierstadt. I think I can do this as the major elements are not from any of his works and there has been extensive reworking of the 'part' I took from him. The background clouds were particularly appealing to me so I wanted to use them in a new creative work. I will add his name to the description, as I couldn't recall it when I wrote the brief summary.
