Took sometime for myself today! Stopped in at our favorite spot in Portland today! And this is what I saw. A beautiful flock of seagulls getting lunch from the kindness of the lobster-man on the Lady Catherine. The scene was incredible!! So many seagulls flying around and their squawking was so loud. Love living Maine! It truly is the Cafe Lady Catherine for the seagulls! What a scene! I didn't want to leave, but my parking meter was running out! I took many photographs of this scene and will be posting some more! Changed this one to a black and white per my husband's request. He gave it a big thumbs up!!

On behalf of The AC Hotel Portland Downtown/Waterfront and Mr. Nigel Barker, thank you for your recent submission to the 'Unpacking Portland with Nigel Barker' photography contest.

We're happy to announce that you have qualified for the top five photos submitted! As mentioned in the contest details, the top 5 finalists' photos will be displayed at AC Hotel's grand opening event on Thursday, September 13th, at 3:00 PM where the winner will be announced.

The top 5 have also been offered a chance to meet Mr. Nigel Barker and attend a photography master class. Mr. Nigel Barker will join the finalists' to share photography knowledge and tour the downtown area together. Bring your camera or phone, whichever media you prefer! The group is invited to meet at the AC Hotel Portland Downtown/Waterfront at 11:45 AM. The master class will last 1-1.5 hours.

Followed by the master class, the finalist's are invited to attend the hotel's grand opening cocktail party event, beginning at 3:00 PM and ending at 5:00 PM. The winner announced during the event, will receive their photo in an upcoming issue of Portland Magazine.

Please reply back, with an RSVP confirmation for the master class outing, as well as the grand opening event.
