Bright Baja Rose. I have a Baja Littleleaf Rose, Rosa minutifolia, growing against my sunny South wall. Its branches arch out and down to the ground and, if a leaf node stays touching the ground through a rainy winter it can sprout roots and grow. I've two or three so far. Desert adapted, it's weathered this drought well. It makes a bright tote bag or throw pillow. Though rare in the desert, it is grown commercially in Southern California.
