Description
This is something I would love to photograph on our next trip, the Botany Bay road at night. I call this special road the Aiken South Carolina South Boundary of Edisto. This is morning light under the canopy of live oak trees along Botany Bay Road on Edisto Island, SC. As we completed our photography on the beach, this was our view as we left the Botany Bay area.
Being from Aiken South Carolina, Aiken has a beautiful street lined with Oak trees called South Boundary. I have an image in my gallery of beautiful South Boundary. The Aiken street-lined oak trees form a tunnel similar to this tunnel found as you enter Botany Bay.
What was I thinking?
I could not help but feel I was home in Aiken South Carolina but 100 years in the past. Aiken South Carolina has an iconic street with large oaks lining both sides of the street. My Aiken street is called South Boundary, today it is paved. Photography for me has been a joyous overwhelming witness of life moving forward, it is up to me to stop life moving forward with the use of my eyes and camera.
