It was opening night at Petey Rogers’ new jazz club, called “Petey’s Place” where only the cool cats would come to jam. Petey asked his old band buddies, Bosco and Sammie, to play this first gig because they had great chops and could play a mean tune. Petey counted off and the boys started with Bosco beating out a walking bass line that lead to Petey improvising as he tickled the keys, and Sammie Jamming on the Saxophone. Outside, the line to get in was taking over an hour, but the tip jar was already overflowing. These cool cats will definitely do another gig together soon. Come on over for the next time and enjoy the show.
