Clouds add such a nice dimension to any photograph. I especially love the blue sky peeking through the clouds and the peaks of Mount Katahdin. Mount Katahdin in Baxter State Park, makes its own weather pattern. One minute it is sunny and nice, and the next rain, or dare I say snow, will be coming down. From this vantage point overlooking Sandy Stream Pond, we can see how quickly the weather can change. A visit to Maine is not complete without at least driving through Baxter State Park. But if you really want to enjoy it, sleep over in a cabin, tent or lean-to. It's really worth any amount of inconvenience!
