We decided at the last minute to try to catch sunset at Tybee Island on our last evening in Savannah. As we pulled in to the parking lot at the lighthouse, the last rays of the setting sun were just visible in the distance, and I immediately thought we were just too late for photos. All of a sudden, though, the brightness increased and I jumped out of the car with my camera and captured this image. When I looked at it later on my computer screen, I was pleasantly surprised.
