Description
This Blue-gray Gnatchatcher lives in a wooded area in San Antonio, Texas. This cheerful songbird surveys the area for spiderwebs that might have tiny morsels of food to eat or sticky webbing to mold a nest. This image of the pale gray bird shows its grayish white breast and long legs. The tail consists of black and white feathers. Although thin, this photo shows the bird on one of the first brisk mornings when temps have dropped causing his feathers to fluff out and keep him warm.
