Black And White Panorama Of Downtown Austin Skyline From Duncan Park - Texas Hill Country
Photograph - Photograph
I initially came across this urban park back in Labor Day 2019, and I decided I would return to Austin to try to photograph the skyline from this vantage point later on. It was on the day that Tropical Storm Imelda formed just south of Houston on the gulf coast, and all this cloud action was created by one of the storm bands cruising above the eastern edge of the Hill Country. Austin and the I-35 corridor stayed on the dry side of the spinning storm, so they didn't really get the rain they were hoping to get. The streaking clouds were created by attaching a 10-stop neutral density filter to the front of the lens. Thanks for looking. FAA watermark WILL NOT show on fine art print.
