Kavos (Cape) is maybe the most impressive neighborhood of Hydra's town, it's white-walled houses climbing against a stiff rocky cliff. Looking from the other side of the gulf, it looks like it is floating in the sea, under the soft blue sky. On the top of the huge rock by the sea stands the statue of Miaoulis, the chief admiral of the 1821 Greek revolution against the Ottomans.
