Painting - Acrylic
My father was an exceptional artist and when he suddenly passed of a massive heart attack my brother and went to his home to retrieve his things. On his easle was this photogragraph of a solitary man walking up an old street in Italy which he had taken on one of his trips. His canvas was being prepped to paint it, yet he hadn't had time to begin before dying. It made me terribly sad feeling it was unfinished, so I took the photo home and painted it in honor of my father; Thus, finishing what he didn't have a chance to finish himself. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think about it.
