You get the best view of Giotto’s Bell Tower in Florence Italy after you climb the 463 steps to the dome of the cathedral. Giotto's bell tower is one of the principal monuments on the Piazza del Duomo, standing next to the Florence Cathedral (Basilica of Santa Maria del Fiore) and the Baptistry of St John. It is nearly 85 m tall and about 15 m across. It is a beautiful example of 14th century Gothic architecture in Florence with its decorative white, red and green marble details.
