Description
I made this image of Castle Rock in Gove County, Kansas a long, long time ago (but still within this galaxy). If you will look deeper in my "Kansas" gallery, you will see more images of this same rock column but without the taller spire on the top. It is now gone, eroded away by wind and water - which makes this image somewhat interesting if you like rocks.
The original photograph was made on slide film with a Hasselblad camera. I digitized for uploading and the result is what you now are seeing.
Some effects were applied to the original image after the photograph was made. No electrons were harmed during the transition. Ordered images will not contain the Fine Art America watermark.
