Someone was comforting me just the other day and said these words to me. They struck pretty true. When someone dies, who you thought you were already very close to, it kind of takes on a whole new feeling of closeness. I feel my loved one with me every single moment of every single day. His absence has caused his constant presence.
I have always felt Heaven around me though . . . in the kindness of friends, loved ones and strangers . . . in the beauty of this world . . . . in the hugs of coincidences that feel like more . . . but death brings Heaven even closer and so much dearer.
