Description
This painting is a progression of the 'Flowerfield' series. For this particular piece I have worked on a smaller scale A2 size with a one inch depth and by introducing circular shapes to the edges of the canvas, they offset the colours within the frame. Almost seeming to collide and roll around the canvas, whilst the bold yellows float in the sea of the deep blue space. Again I have used a mixture of mediums, gloss, acrylic and silver metallic paints. The silver sphere is very tactile and seems to protrude out towards the viewer. The reflective quality is lush and brings an oriental vibe.
