Acadia National Park is truly beautiful in every way. We camp every summer on Mount Desert Island which is the home for Acadia National Park. It's so wonderful in the summer mainly because we see our friends who we only see while we are camping. It's a family reunion each summer! I have to admit though, I really love Acadia in the winter. I desperately miss my much loved summer family when I am visiting Acadia in the winter. They would love it up there as much as I do because, and please forgive me, but we don't have to share it with the tourists that come up just to see the highlights of Acadia. This photo was taken along the Park Loop Road looking down towards Sand Beach. It was a beautiful December day. Acadia is tugging at my heartstrings right now. Soon I will be back, but in the meantime, I will edit these photos to sooth my soul.
