Beach Fence Shadows Black And White 300
Sharon Williams Eng
Painting - Digital Photo Painting
This beach landscape was created from one of my original macro abstract photographs. The original photo was of some scratches on some metal, I believe. I digitally painted the photograph to end up with an image that reminds me of heading out to the beach over some dunes lined with weathered beach fences and tall grasses. And, just over this dune, is the ocean and white, sandy beach for our enjoyment and fun.
The original digital photo painting had a bit of color in it. This version is rendered in black and white.
I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida (recently relocated from Hendersonville, North Carolina), and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many of my abstract and semi-abstract works would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains. I've even had a couple abstracts made into my personal cell phone covers.
