Baltimore Power Plant Guitar Stacks Monochrome
Artist

Description
Stormy skies provide a dramatic backdrop to the stacks of the old Pratt Street Power Plant in Baltimore, Maryland (circa 1900). The renaissance of the Baltimore Inner Harbor has re-invented the old United Railways and Electric Company power plant on Pier Four in downtown Baltimore. Today the mixed-use facility hosts restaurants, entertainment and more.
The Hard Rock Cafe's iconic guitar stands amidst the four Power Plant smokestacks, giving new meaning the the guitar term "power chords" - or possibly, from the appearance, "bar chords." Any guitar aficionado would appreciate the thought behind this classic arrangement of power and sound.
This easily recognizable scene of the Baltimore Inner Harbor is presented in three post-processing edits by Bill Swartwout Photography. This monochrome/grayscale image in Black and white (B&W) emphasizes the dramatic clouds and the stark nature of this century-old structure.
