Imagine for a minute that you are waking up on a sailboat off the coast of Maine. The water is calm, the birds are out and the sun is starting to peak through the clouds. You see a perfect dinghy moored off the bow of your boat. So you run underneath to the cabin to grab your camera with a telephoto lens hoping that the boat won't move too much so you can get this idyllic scene without too much trouble. All of a sudden, a huge Bald Eagle swoops down and photo bombs your image. Too perfect for words! OMG I was so excited! If you look carefully, the mature Bald Eagle is located in the mid to upper left corner of the image. Truly, my Maine life is pretty perfect! What followed this image was a battle between an Osprey and the Bald Eagle. It was noisy and quite an epic dual of the wills between these two amazing birds. Really doesn't get any better than this!
