Description
The dark blue background accentuates the vivid white of the bald eagle. The yellow beak and eye create a high contrast look to this birds of prey watercolor painting. The intense look in this eagle's eye drew me to it immediately. My goal was too try to capture that mood in an original watercolor painting. I used Arches 140 lb watercolor paper and Winsor Newton pro pigments.
