The Trossachs at Loch Lomond's Loch end where the Scottish Highlands start with the Arrochar Alps, Ben Lomond and Ben More these can be seen through the autumn trees of the stunning Trossachs landscape, with a village beyond and more lochs surrounding this area of outstanding beauty such as Loch Long, Loch Katrine, Loch Eck, Loch Achray and Loch Ard, a beautiful place to be and the colours of the landscape this time of year are stunning with its autumn golds and copper intermingled with the green that is still sparkling as the landscape turns to copper with a dusting of snow on the mountain peaks. This area, including Loch Lomond and the afore mentioned Lochs, is called Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, a conservation area of outstanding beauty. Painted in acrylics and highlighted with pastel, finishing it only today,14 October 2015 before framing it and preparing it for the coming exhibition in November my newest landscape painting to date.
