"Complete solitude and serenity under the stars." This painting is huge, at 4' long x 2 1/2' wide. The northern lights and stars over the snowy mountains actually glow in the dark, they’re UV reactive and light up at night when charged. The mountains were done with a palette knife, the rest of it was done by brush. I made my own phosphorescent paint to make the aurora borealis and stars glow really bright at night
