Description
Floating the Salmon River in Idaho is the trip of a lifetime. This image is a "happy accident," in that the only alteration applied was cropping. The colors, the impressionistic blur all just happened in camera. I love it because it captures the essence of what each and every evening on the river was like...and naturally, as time goes by, my memories of it will fade a bit, but the colors, the warmth, the camaraderie and the magic of that trip will live on. To me, this image captures all of those lasting feelings richly.
