Approaching The Bowl

Description
Loving this point of view as we approached the Bowl which is a pond located between Gorham, Champlain and the Beehive Mountains. Hiking in Acadia National Park is always fun because the views are outstanding and the landscape is simply gorgeous. There is a code of responsibility to uphold the beauty of Acadia and see that she remains beautiful for others to enjoy. I am sad to say that over the years, we have seen trash along the trails and Park Loop Road. People openly swim in the water reserves and there are many who openly disregard the magnificence and splendor of Acadia. I think that is why I prefer to visit Acadia in the winter because there aren't many tourists. If there are people hiking in the coldest of the seasons, it's because they love Acadia and respect the park. Sorry to be all negative, but Acadia is a very special place and we must all do our part to take care of her.
