I have always loved hydrangea but never really knew much about them. Then I bought a couple of plants. They were called Antique Hydrangea and what a treat! I bought them a couple of years ago but they haven't really produced till this year. Now the bushes still have a lot of growing to do but I am looking forward to watching as they mature. If they are producing such beautiful, big blooms with unique muted color this year I can only imagine how beautiful they will look next year and the year after.
Here I have taken artistic license and lightened the leaves considerably as I processed the picture. I wanted the flowers to be the show piece here. I don't know if I succeeded in that but the leaves certainly compliment the flowers so it all worked out in the long run.
