Description
The original surreal painting matted with 6 ply mat and with black frame with gold, was done by pouring & dripping inks and moving them only with a palette knife and then scattering pure gold dust. I was exploring how our perceptions shift, playing with figure and ground, exploring dualities of light and dark, surface and subliminal, commonplace and mysterious.
