Description
The Black Angus is the most common breed of beef cow in the US. They originate in Aberdeen and Angus counties of Scotland, and were first introduced in the US in 1873, by George Grant. These black, naturally polled (hornless) cattle were seen as unusual or even weird when first seen in America. This cow and calf, are part of a small herd found while cruising the back roads of Nash County, North Carolina.
