great work David, We owe the founding Puritans credit for this ideology. Puritans believed God's world was meant to be explored, examined, and enjoyed, and displayed a zest for living. Life was not to be separated into the religious and the secular, they blelived; instead, all of life should be Bible-baswd and God-centered- whether it was family life, work, play, education, the arts, law or government. Everything should be done in a manner that honored God-especially family life.Like most Engiishmen of their day. they also loved field sports-hunting, fishing, archery, bowling, and even horse racing. " God would have our joys to be far more than our sorrows," proclaimed a Puritan proverb of the era. Thanks for this patriotic work David.
